Eastward Boats inc.
Dave East, President, has been a boat manufacturer for over 23 years. Starting out hands-on in his own shop and eventually expanding to the largest manufacturer of boats, in the class and category that he was building, in the industry.
Semi-retiring, he accepted a position as Boating Editor for a major outdoor publication and hosted a Boating TV series where he was able to test hundreds of boats from the majority of manufacturers in the industry, for over 4 years.
Dave has returned to boat manufacturing with the unique opportunity to have an in-depth knowledge of boat building combined with personal, hands-on, test results of over 300 boats.
These new boats are a culmination of that experience to offer the very best quality of construction, ride and function. These versatile boats can fish freshwater lakes, saltwater estuaries, inlets, bays and light offshore, all out of the same craft.
All composite construction, tinned wiring, heat-shrunk terminals and S.S. hardware are just a few of the features that allow this boat to stand up to a harsh saltwater environment. The proven hull design was computer crafted and provides a smooth dry ride. A lot of attention is given to the ergonomic comfort while at the helm for a more enjoyable, less fatiguing, day on the water.
Factory direct pricing plus personal contact between the company owner and the boat owner during the design build process, ensures you're getting the most value for your money. Each boat is built one at a time, to the customers specifications.
About Us and our boats
"With my past career as a manufacturer I know boat building and the benefits of the latest construction methods. My position as Boating Editor allowed me to test hundreds of boats and see things other manufacturers were doing with their craft that was innovative along with many other things I would not consider well thought out. This let me design a boat that incorporates the very best of construction, value and features. Practical Functionality, as I call it. A boat that I would own myself."
